We left Thursday evening to fly to Texas to see Jeremy's family and have family pictures taken. Jeremy's parents had a house full with 13 adults and children staying there! Jeremy's grandma was there when we arrived and Jay and Shauna (Jeremy's sister) and their two boys arrived Friday night along with Jeremy's aunt and her two children! The family pictures were taken Saturday evening. They turned out beautiful, even with the temperature over 94 degrees and humid! We celebrated Grant's birthday a month early with Jeremy's family because they aren't able to come to Michigan in June. Thank you to everyone who helped me with the cake! Grant was a little uncertain if he actually wanted to eat the cake. He had a lot of fun smashing it and spreading it all over his high chair tray!The "early first birthday" cake

Watching Grandpa Al grill steaks for Sunday lunch. The guys fixed lunch for Mother's Day. It was delicious: steak, salad, dirty mashed potatoes, cauliflower casserole, corn and rolls. Thank you to the guys for making Mother's Day extra special!

What a fun weekend!! I love the family pictures but especially the one with Grant's mouth wide open - it made me laugh!! It sounds like you're all doing well!! That's great!! I can't believe Grant is going to be 1 soon!!

Sounds like a great weekend. The pictures look so nice! I can't believe Grant is going to be one already. Time sure goes wayyyyy to fast. He is getting more adorable everyday. I also hope you had a great first Mother's Day. :)
