Day Three

We had orginally planned to spend day 3 on Mackinac Island, but they were predicting rain so we ended up switching our route. We instead headed to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore near Munising. We took a boat tour along the shoreline to see the rock formations. It was 48* and rainy (about 40* on the water) and they cut the tour short because the waves were getting too rough. We were still able to see some beautiful sights and after lunch, the rain stopped and we were able to hike to some waterfalls.

Awesome pictures!! Looks like places we would love to visit ourselves someday. Reminds us some of our trip along the coast of Lake Michigan!! Hard to believe that water and sand that breathtaking isn't in the Carribean. Love the cute pidture of Grant with his walking stick!;-)
